The FilmJudge Blog has come about for a number of reasons. First of all, it has replaced a rather frustrating mailing list which I had been using to keep subscribers informed of upcoming reviews. The mailing list was laborious to update, and many people encountered problems with receiving it. A blog is much easier for me to add to, which means updates will be more frequent and more accurate, and it has the benefit that everyone can read it.
But the most important reason for using the blog system is that it allows people to leave their own comments. Every time a review of a new release is added to the main FilmJudge site, an entry will be added to the blog so you can discuss the film and add your thoughts. Feel free to comment on my reviews too, and I'll try to respond as often as I can.
I'll also use the blog to post news about upcoming reviews and new features. Due to the ease at which I can update the blog, I can be far more accurate with my predictions for future reviews. Finally, I intend to post the odd random topic to canvass opinion on favourite films, actors, directors and other such things.

Obviously I ask that conduct on the blog remain civil at all times. Messages of an insulting or overly unpleasant nature are not permitted, and please refrain from unnecessary bad language - I'm trying to keep the site and the blog suitable for all ages.
Most importantly though, enjoy using the blog. It's something a little different, and certainly something not offered by many film review sites, so I hope you'll make good use of it.
